Globe Trotter: Europe, the Middle East, and South East Asia
Spring is a busy time for me this year. I'll be back in the Netherlands for two nights for school and then ten days later I'll be doing my first long solo trip, 13 days through the Middle East and South East Asia. I fly from Lyon to Dubai, where I overnight and then head on to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I'll be in Vietnam for two nights by myself until my tour starts up. I booked through G Adventures and spent 880E for the tour (which was very pricey to me but I valued safety and convenience for my first Asia trip). The cost includes a car transfer to my hotel the first night (35E) and two nights (80E) at the hotel before the tour starts, plus all the normal stuff. Two more nights will be staying in Vietnam before heading off to Cambodia for 2 nights in Phnom Penh, 3 nights in Siem Reap/Ankor Wat, and 1 night in Bangkok, Thailand.
